Description:
Deep in the jungle, terrorists have almost completed construction on an underground compound to be used for biological/chemical weapons manufacturing and distribution. Intelligence reports indicate the need to obtain important information located within the hidden facility. A squad from the 2/75 Rangers must breach and infiltrate the enemy compound, locate and secure the sensitive material, and then proceed to the extraction point. The 9 players will be outnumbered by an AI enemy force (including quick reaction forces) and must work together to successfully complete the mission. This mission features random AI placement/patrols, random objective locations, and various Ranger weapon loadouts (including the AT4 and Door Breachers).

Situation: Intelligence reports that a known terrorist organization has recently completed construction on an underground compound to be used as a manufacturing and holding facility for chemical and biological weapons. This hidden facility has not yet commenced with weapon manufacturing operations, but poses an immediate threat to both US and friendly forces in the area. Intel also indicates that valuable intelligence is being kept in this compound. A sympathetic informant has gained access to the compound and knows the whereabouts of said intelligence, however he is still on site.
Rules of Engagement: Rules of Engagement published 12MAY05 are in effect. Use necessary force against positively identified enemy combatants only. Minimize damage to local infrastructure. Be advised civilian non-combatants may be present in contested area.
Mission: Breach the enemy compound located at vicinity grid 35885012 through one of several entry points available. Once inside the compound, locate and question the informant to learn the current location of the sensitive material. After securing the sensitive material, proceed to the extraction point. Once the mission is completed and the information is secured, air strikes will destroy the bunker structure at a later date.
Enemy: Company sized force equipped with small arms and supported by a QRF (quick reaction force) platoon with an estimated five minute response time.
Friendly: 1st Squadron, Alpha Company, 2d/75th Rangers.
Terrain: Heavily rutted / eroded forest lowlands offer cover and concealment.
