Description:
Insurgent forces have acquired multiple weapons caches and are holding up in an abandoned desert town. A Special Forces A-Team, along with friendly Indigenous Forces, must infiltrate their position in town and seize these weapons caches in order to degrade enemy capability to arm insurgent forces.

Situation: Guerilla forces have acquired weapons caches in the vicinity of AO TAGGART. The weapons are located in three cache sites within an abandoned town at grid TL050404.
Rules of Engagement: Rules of Engagement published 31JAN04 are in effect. Minimize damage to local infrastructure.
Mission: ODA 213 attacks objectives Main Street, Alley and South Courtyard, vicinity TL050404, commencing 041400MAY04 to seize weapons caches in order to degrade enemy capability to arm guerilla forces.
Enemy: Squad-sized forces armed with assault rifles and light machine guns.
Friendly: One organic Special Forces Operational Detachment "Alpha"; no other friendly forces in support.
Terrain: Abandoned adobe village with heavy damage offering numerous covered and concealed positions.

Situation: HODA 213 seized three weapons caches intended for use by guerilla forces in the vicinity of AO TAGGART. The weapons are located in three sites within an abandoned town at grid TL050404. Guerilla forces launched a counter-attack to retake the cache sites.
Rules of Engagement: Rules of Engagement published 31JAN04 are in effect. Minimize damage to local infrastructure.
