| Article by Snoop - April 28, 2009, 12:30 pmFileplanet Subscribers get AA3 Beta? |
|
|
Controversy has risen in the AA Community once again after Fileplanet announced that its subscribers will get to try AA3 Beta "soon". If this is actually true, AA has disrespect many players that have been supporting the game for years. Requiring people to pay money to another organization just to be able to play the Beta game before everyone else. This is unconfirmed if fileplanet subscribers will actually get early beta but if you really want to, an account their is $7/month or $39/year. $7 no one wants to donate to play a FREE game.
I'm proud to announce the beta for one of the Free to Play First-Person shooters is happening soon; Subscribers get the honored position of playing America's Army 3 first! Interested in what's new in the upcoming v3.0? This video covers unlocks, ballistics, Army Values and more:
The third edition of military simulation game, now rebuilt upon the next-generation Unreal Engine 3 system for unprecedented realism. In America's Army, players can explore and dominate challenges ranging from basic training to Special Forces Assessment and Selection to Special Forces Qualification Course. Keys will be very limited, so my suggestion would be to subscribe now if you haven't, and stay vigilant on our site for further intelligence.

Location of sensitive material is only known to be located in vicinity C94M98A04. Reports confirm that there are willing informants who know the exact whereabouts of the sensitive material." SF Hospital "Following an ambush by enemy forces, a wounded Resistance leader escaped to a neutral hospital for treatment of his wounds. The leader is a critical member of the Resistance government within Unconventional Warfare Area of Operations (UWAO) JAZZ." Urban Assault "A coalition convoy was raided and the cargo was stolen. It has been confirmed that the insurgents and the cargo are based in a residential area of the city. Due to the dense urban nature of the area it will be necessary to do a house by house assault on foot." ES2 Bridge "Enemy forces masquerading as refugees have ambushed the US forces defending bridge at grid WS663429. The little team that could, Final Destination took the title last season (TWL:O) and they've done it again in the big leagues. Stepping up their game to TWL Inters, the American based team climbed their way to the top once again. They are also moving up the Western Top Teams list sitting at 3rd, playoffs should play a big part in how they go from there. One of Final Destination's top players, fd.tactics, talks about the team's journey to the top. The detailed response gives us a great look at the team's hard work that was put into this season's victory.

Finally the TWL 2009 Winter Intermediate League has come to an end. After a long faught season, Final Destination came out on top, finishing with a 6-1-1 to make a total of 21 points. The runner up was United Gamers' AA Division with 5-2-1 and 19 points. For 3rd place it was a close one, both teams went 5-2-0 with 17 points but iceNine had a higher round win percentage (64%) and overRated had (58%). So we feel iceNine should receive 3rd.
Over all it was a good season with some unexpected changes. Last week we released the "You Predict" feature that gives you the chance to guess the who will win each match, 26 people guessed UG would win and 18 people thought fd would win...better luck next time community lol. We would like to thank all the teams for comming out and putting a good effort in and we hope to see you in the next season!
